The 6th International Symposium on Measurement and Kinetics of In Vivo Drug Effects will be held in Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands, on April 21-24, 2010.

As with the previous symposia in 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, and 2006, the purpose is to bring together scientists with an interest in in vivo Pharmacodynamic investigations to discuss the latest developments in the field of Pharmacokinetic-Pharmacodynamic (PKPD) modelling.

Update 01-03-2010 - only 10 seats and hotel rooms left!

Chairmen:
Meindert Danhof, The Netherlands (Chairman), Nick Holford, New Zealand, and Piet Hein Van der Graaf, UK

The theme of this year's conference is “Targets in PKPD”. In plenary sessions we will address the following topics:

• Target “Biology”: systems biology in drug discovery, drug safety evaluation
• Target “Species”: animal to human extrapolation, healthy & sick volunteers, children & adults
• Target “Biomarkers”: concentration biomarkers, response biomarkers, safety biomarkers
• Target “Dosing Schedules”: schedule dependency, how long and how often
• Target “Clinical Outcomes”: slowing disease progress, delaying time to event, curing disease
• Target “Public Health”: linking PKPD to public health

Furthermore:
• A poster session covering all aspects of PKPD modelling and its applications
